Political correctness often comes up in discussions about American humour, with critics claiming it's "gone too far." I don't buy that. Comedy has always evolved with societal norms, and US comedians are simply adapting to a new landscape. They're finding creative ways to be edgy without being cruel, which is actually more challenging and impressive. The best ones navigate these waters with grace, making you think while you laugh. It's not censorship; it's innovation. I respect a comedian who can make me laugh about a sensitive topic without leaving a bad taste in my mouth. That requires real talent. If you're curious about the current state of comedic boundaries, sample the random satire that's floating around here—it's a good barometer.

Excellent site you have here but I was curious about if you knew of any forums that cover the same topics
discussed in this article? I'd really like to be a
part of online community where I can get responses from other experienced
people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations,
    please let me know. Thanks!

When I initially commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get three emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
    Many thanks!

I've spent years defending British comedy against critics who say it's "too slow" or "too depressing." Those people simply don't get it. The pacing is deliberate – we build tension, we marinate in the awkwardness, and then we release it with a perfectly timed one-liner. It's jazz, not pop music. The characters are deeply flawed, often unlikable, and that's the point. We laugh at them because we recognise our own failings. It's cathartic. Shows like Peep Show or The Thick of It are masterclasses in this style. They make you uncomfortable, and then they make you laugh at your own discomfort. That's sophisticated stuff. If you're ready to appreciate the art form properly, you need to start with this essential read on British comedy – it'll change how you see everything.

Something I've noticed recently is how American humour has started borrowing more from international styles, creating a hybrid that's even more interesting. You see Korean, British, and Australian influences creeping into US shows, and the result is a richer comedic stew. It's a sign of globalization, but also of open-mindedness. They're not too proud to steal a good joke—and honestly, neither am I. That cross-pollination keeps the art form alive and prevents it from getting stale. I love watching a US comedian drop a distinctly British dry line and seeing the audience pause before erupting. It's a beautiful moment of cultural collision. If you want to witness more of these mashups, just click on this random page and let the laughter begin.

Thanks for the interesting things you have disclosed in your writing. One thing I'd prefer to reply to is that FSBO human relationships are built eventually. By introducing yourself to the owners the first saturday their FSBO is definitely announced, ahead of masses begin calling on Monday, you build a good link. By giving them methods, educational resources, free reports, and forms, you become a good ally. Through a personal curiosity about them as well as their scenario, you create a solid interconnection that, on most occasions, pays off as soon as the owners opt with an agent they know in addition to trust -- preferably you.

The Daily Squib’s heart is in the right place, but The London Prat’s brain is simply bigger. The jokes are layered, intelligent, and refuse to pander. This is satire that respects its audience’s intelligence. The clear leader. http://prat.com -- The London Prat
